1. Anna: "I just want to be able to make my own decisions, you know, without someone telling me what to do all the time!"
2. Tess: "You have no idea what it's like being a mother. You don't understand the sacrifices I have to make for our family!"
3. Anna: "Oh please, like being a teenager is any easier! I have to deal with school, friends, and all this pressure to be perfect all the time!"
4. Tess: "Well, maybe if you actually listened to me once in a while, you would realize that I'm just trying to protect you!"
5. Anna: "Protect me? From what? Life? It's not fair! I should be able to live my own life and make my own mistakes!"
6. Tess: "You think life is easy? Well, let me tell you something, it's not! It's tough and sometimes you have to make tough choices!"
7. Anna: "Well, I'm tired of always being told what to do. I want to have control over my own life!"
8. Tess: "You think you're ready for that? You think you can handle all the responsibilities that come with it?"
9. Anna: "Maybe not right now, but how will I ever learn if I'm always sheltered from everything?"
10. Tess: "Sometimes, as a parent, it's my job to protect you from making mistakes that you're not ready for!"
11. Anna: "But how will I ever grow if I'm always being told what to do? I need to figure things out on my own!"
12. Tess: "You don't understand, being a parent means constantly worrying about your child's safety and well-being!"
13. Anna: "Well, maybe I need to start worrying about my own safety and well-being for once!"
14. Tess: "You don't know what it's like to have the weight of the world on your shoulders!"
15. Anna: "Maybe not, but I know what it's like to feel suffocated and controlled all the time!"
16. Tess: "I'm just trying to do what's best for you, even if you can't see it right now."
17. Anna: "Well, maybe what you think is best for me isn't really what I want!"
18. Tess: "I love you, Anna. I just want you to be safe and happy."
19. Anna: "I love you too, Mom. But I need to find my own path in life."
20. Tess: "I understand. Just promise me you'll be careful and think before you act."
21. Anna: "I promise, Mom. And I promise to always remember that you're just trying to protect me."
